Bibles for Uganda

One of the areas of Impact's ministry to Uganda is providing Bibles in the local Lugandan language. Over the past ten years we have been able to send over 300 Bibles thanks to the generous donations of ordinary people in Australia, impacting the lives and faith of thousands of individuals, families and communities. This has enabled many men, women and children to read and know God's Word in their native language.

Stories from Uganda

"I never imagined that I would actually meet one of the recipients of the donation I had given two years earlier! In December 2006 I was privileged to visit Uganda with my husband. We met with John-Mary's [left] faith sharing group in the tiny living room of their small farmhouse where they have raised 9 children. From this small gift the family have evangelised many in their neighbourhood, bringing Christ through His Word and applying it in their daily lives."

"In May 2009 I was privileged to be part of a small team visiting Uganda. I met Christina [right] when she kindly offered to escort us visiting the sick and elderly. One the way she invited us into her home for a cool drink. I was totally overwhelmed when she brought out her bible and I saw my own name on the gift label. Christina is so grateful and delights in reading the Word of God in her own language."
