Event Registration
By registering for or attending an event run by Emmanuel Community, including our ministries, you agree to the following conditions and policies:
Registration Conditions
Participation
I agree to cooperate with any instructions and behavioural expectations provided in regard to the Emmanuel Community Event (“Event”) that I am attending, and that I am responsible for any activities I may choose to participate in during the Event. I understand that if I am unable to remain at the Event due to medical, behavioural, disciplinary or other reasons, I will be responsible for any costs or other arrangements required for my departure.
Indemnity
I understand that while every reasonable precaution will be undertaken to ensure my protection, I hereby release Emmanuel Community, its Ministries, authorised Staff and Volunteers (“Emmanuel Community”) from any and all liability in the event of any injury, accident, misfortune, damage or loss that may occur to me and my property while attending the Event. Further, I indemnify Emmanuel Community from and against all loss, including legal expenses, connected with or arising from any claims or demands in relation to my attendance at the Event. I agree and understand that Emmanuel Community reserves the right to exercise discretion to refuse to register any delegate upon medical or other grounds without providing a detailed reason for doing so.
Medical Treatment Consent
I give permission for Emmanuel Community to obtain emergency medical, hospital or ambulance assistance and/or treatment for me at any time they consider necessary. I acknowledge that I will be liable for any medical, hospital or ambulance expense incurred in my treatment and I agree to pay those expenses.
Privacy Declaration
I understand that Emmanuel Community may collect information about me in accordance with their Privacy Policy and that this information may be disclosed to certain parties it engages to organise the Event. I consent to these details being used by Emmanuel Community, and other host organisations where applicable, for the promotion of future events and resources via post, phone, email and SMS. I can elect to have my details removed from their database at any time.
Media Release
I understand that Events will be captured in photographs, video and audio, and that Emmanuel Community reserves the right to use this material for promotional purposes or other resources. I understand I must advise Emmanuel Community in writing if I do not give permission for images of myself to be used where I am a focus of the footage. I understand I may be visible in photos or video footage of crowds or large groups..
Family Discount
For key Events, including Ignite Conference, Ignite Summer Camp and Ignite Launch, families with two or more children attending can receive a discount of 5% off per child - ie. 10% off each ticket if there are 2 children attending, 15% off for 3 children, etc.
Unless specified otherwise, the following conditions apply:
Discount only applies to school-aged tickets, not to parents or family members who have left school.
Discount only applies to the main registration ticket, not to additional purchases such as shirts, buses etc
Discount only applies to full tickets only, not to group tickets, one-day tickets or any other discounts

Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you are no longer able to attend an event you have registered for, you may cancel your registration and apply for a refund as per the policy time frames below.
To apply for a refund or arrange a registration transfer, please contact us.
Refunds - General Events
Up to 28 days before Refund available less 20% administration fee (max fee $25).
Up to 14 days before 50% refund available. [extended to 2 days before for events under $40]
From 14 days before No refund available from this date, or for non-attendance at the event, however registrations can be transferred to a new person (see below).
Refunds - Ignite Conference
Please note that Ignite Conference holds specific refund timeframes which vary from the general policy:
Before 30 June Refund available less 20% administration fee.
Before 31 August 50% refund available.
From 1 September No refund available from this date, or for non-attendance at the event, however registrations can be transferred to a new person (see below).
Transferring Registrations
Unless stated otherwise, all Emmanuel Community events allow registrations to be transferred to a new attendee. To transfer a registration, the new attendee needs to complete a new registration using a ticket code provided by Emmanuel Community.
Please note that a $10 administration fee may apply to transfers, at the discretion of Emmanuel Community. For Ignite Conference, a $40 administration fee will apply after 1 September.
While we understand that circumstances can change after registering for an event, these fees cover the administration required for cancellations and event costs already incurred.
